Never give your heart away too fast
That's the wrong thing to do
For if you give it away too fast
You may learn what broken hearts go through

Always take it slowly
For there is no need to rush
Even if you feel like a schoolgirl
Who's experiencing a teenage crush

Time is always on your side
When it comes to the matters of the heart
You want to make sure he's the one
Before you let romance start

When you know he's the one
Who's opened your hearts door
Then by all means let him in
Hopefully, love will last forever more
