No Sacrifice Too Great! Poem by Denis Martindale

No Sacrifice Too Great!

When saints are moved to save the lost,
They soon depart their homes,
Beyond the time they count the cost,
As each who daily roams.

God calls from Heaven's Throne above,
To many here on Earth,
Who truly know the Saviour's love
And seek to prove their worth.

By faith, their lives they left behind,
By faith, they gave their all,
By faith, as servants of Mankind,
No matter, great or small.

What treasures wait such saints as these?
What crowns of glory stored?
As salt and light, their Lord to please,
Regardless of reward.

Praise God for heroes young and old,
Because they proved first rate!
For the greatest story ever told,
NO SACRIFICE TOO GREAT!
