No Strings Attached, Foolishly You Think

Ever present is the opportunity to be great,
While sitting on the cradle of the plane,
Your every need cradled,
Amidst being taken to the skies obliviously,
The goods: health, suitable dwelling,
Clothing and quality education,
No need to sweat for, always at hand,
Sometimes being fed on, willy-nilly like medicine,
For now and tomorrow for your good,

You may decide to pay if you so wish,
Your safety kills somebody day and night,
With worry and somnambulism,
Your future does the same unmercifully,
Life to be enjoyed now is reserved for later as if concrete,
So that you can enjoy and grow for better things to come,

What do you want?
Nothing with strings attached,
Like an open tap, the water should keep on flowing,
No strings attached, foolishly you think,
For you to drink and drink and drink………,
Until she's empty of blood, weak and breathless,
Yet you can't live if that should happen,

The strings attached to your chores are gold,
Without which your tomorrow is doomed,
That includes those that will come by you,
Instead you have resolved to be a rubber clay,
You bounce back time and again, against the mould,

Your little knowledge has suddenly multiplied,
It is now twice the age of your parents and dwarfs their guide,
Milestone potholes are cluttering your overwhelmed brain,
Thus driving nonchalantly you smash the side wall,
Leaning over the precipice on a high bridge,
Your brain shrunk to the correct age,
Fortunately free protection is also provided willy-nilly,

Your incessant transgressions are small to your protector,
Who has made it his job to shepherd you 24/7,
His contract with you is twenty 21 years,
For you to become independent is wearing the heart,
With the potential to kill when things do not improve,

I know what made you to bit your chest,
And declare your independence prematurely,
You want to hold the red hot coals with your bare hands,
To understand my admonitions from the fire,
You want to see the ghosts at night,
Unfortunately some may not let you relate your story,
They would have conscripted you by the bite of the vampire,
This will cause me to cry blood tears,
‘Cause you broke the contract,
When I have so much vigour and love to nurture you,

My vicarious responsibility for you is killing me forever,
Your bad and good actions have me beyond the contract,
Failing to pass the ball in time and get tackled is dangerous,
Just like when you have to tackle somebody and get the ball,
It is hard,
There's always the easy way,
Some take it, some don't,
Do not look back take it to hell or heaven! ! !
