Nobody studied it Indian English poetry
In the past,
Now they are for getting name and fame
As poets and poetesses,
They are for getting degrees, M.Phils. and Ph.Ds.
And promotion,
Their verses, poems not substandard,
Below the mark and derivative,
Carbon-copied and pencilled,
Their theses picked and lengthened
Without references,
The theses of the ragged men as researchers
And the ragged men as he Ph.D. guides.
