Nor'Eastern Summer 1997 Poem by Sylvia Kleinman

Nor'Eastern Summer 1997

Day after day; week after week; month after month
Smiley Sol from 'neath the horizon emerges,
Our souls to warm
Relentless; he
Humankind; Briefly his journey derailed
Quickly returns; his rounds to resume
Ensued by nights to soothe,
No sweat!
"A Yankee Doodle Dandy"
Hats off all
George M. Cohan; Jimmy Cagney
"IMMORTALS."
