My farewell party came
Ere my pen’s ink getting dry
In the admission form.
How cruel and lovely
The farewell party is!
With so much of dreams,
I entered into college.
My footprints in that college,
Speak about me even today.
Smiling and crying,
Laughing and weeping,
Even prizes and experiences,
Nurtures me to write much.
Am I an example to others?
I, really, don’t know- but
I lived there with identity similar to myself.
Morning-time Hai
And Evening-time bye- I thought,
I am going to miss these simple pleasures
From my friends– but now
My heart, my thought,
Became shattered pieces.
On thinking about,
Those cheerful minutes- and
This is like answering,
To a question know nothing of it.
What can I do?
Always thinking past, past, past.
Waking up early,
To finish pending homework.
When getting out of home,
I am expecting college bus.
Like ‘Faustus’- I am
Expecting to gain
Those minutes eternal
And to be ceased in memory.
Can I get these pleasures again?
Can college life be enjoyed again?
By giving money.
Can ‘past’ come back for money?
Never. So CARPE DIEM.
Get bliss by thinking past,
Look! Quick! Come back to present!
