Nostalgia Poem by Lex Freedman

Nostalgia

[[[For all the girls who have let someone amazing slip through their fingers and regret it more than anything]]]

I'm brought back to reality
where clouds roll
and cars drive by;
where children grow
and mothers cry;
where the sky meets the ocean
in sunshine or rain;
where I'm sitting right here
and you're gone on a plane.

((3 months later))

And I'm brought back to reality
where clouds roll
and cars drive by;
where children grow
and motheres cry;
where we know where we belong
and life goes on;
where you're sitting at home
and I'm singing this song.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

That was short, but it spoke pretty powerfully. Just reading it, I really like the way it sounds. It definitely has rhythm to it.
