Nostalgia Poem by Gisela Ireland

Nostalgia

Rating: 1.5

I saw a semblance of you
It sent me reeling
Train wheels
Screaching against ardent metal rails

Those cool blue eyes
Rising flames
Behind a frosted sheet of glass
In Winter
Pierce through me even now

Your powerful images make me cringe.

Gisela, I like the intensity... the sudden screaching. I can certainly relate to the feeling. Well done! ! Brian
