Not Everyone Poem by Francis Duggan

Not Everyone

Not everyone of you has kind things to say
You win some you lose some life can be that way
If one builds you up someone else drags you down
Tis a hard old climb on the hill to renown
In a World where self promotion has become the in thing
So many nowadays their own praises do sing
But then suppose for that them one hardly could blame
It cannot be a sin to promote your own name
Not everyone sees you as one sees a mate
And not everyone of you will say you are great
Not everyone in life can be a success
And not everyone you can hope to impress
And as some grow older they do not grow wise
And not everyone are equal in Big Brothers's eyes.
