Not Torn, Just Sunk Poem by Asia Fields

Not Torn, Just Sunk

When they collide, through vast clouds
We held each other, our once tear stained
Face with the drops of makeup running down
Your cheek. He whipped away all that was
Left. He took your heart and held it closely
Until it was shaken. Shaken from his grip
Out of reach. He heard your sobs but
Left with everything unsaid. He claimed
You in the most emotional way possible
He left without a trace, unwritten words.
These are for him, my love. We were
Two broken ships set asail and you
Fixed my flag, but this shipwreck
Didn't tear my flag. No. This shipwreck
Sunk me, My love.
