Nothing. Poem by josh butcher

Nothing.

What would a work with no more emotions be?
A world without war, without love.
A world without anger, without happiness.
A world without sadness, without hope.
Is it worth giving up the good, to lose the bad.
Yes?
No?

There would be nothing.
No more man killing his brethren.
No more love of a father to his daughter
No more hatred or jealousy.
No more friendship or trust
No more crying or heartbreak.
No more dreams.
There would be nothing.

Would you live in a world of nothing?
A world without war, but without love?
A world that had no anger, but gave up happiness?
A world that had no sadness, but had lost hope?
Would you trade in the good in exchange for losing the bad?
If it was your choice, what would you chose?
