I don't mean to depress you
I'd never make you cry
But i would just like to explain
How i'd like to say goodbye

I'd rather it be in your arms
As peaceful night lights glow
I'd love it to be christmas time
When the ground is layered with snow

I'd gently kiss you on the cheek
An give you my biggest hug
I know my tears would start to flow
An it'd give my heart a tug

The greatest fear in me
Would be leaving you alone
I'd miss you so severly
But your heart is still my home

I hope this is a lifetime away
Cos we've still got more to give
But i'd just like you to know
You gave me life to live.
