I am timeless like Shakespeare, though I'm writing this now,
But how can I be writing this now
If now became the past just now?
Really, I'm starting to think... no, I know that there is no 'now'!
There is only what was and what will be,
And what is is what was and what will be.
You can't say “I say it now”,
Because now is constantly changing, thus there is no 'now'.
We speak of now in future tense: “I shall”,
“She will”, “He will”, “it will happen now”;
And 'just now' is gone, it's in the past now,
and 'now' is in the future, so the future must be now.
Am I crazy? I think, so I think not!
You might have, but I haven't lost the plot.
We can't change the past, only future – and that's now;
So let's do it now, let us say “We shall”.
