I’m standing in a crowded hall.
Screaming out your name.
I feel like I’ve lost it all.
Now all I know is pain.

Shattered figures stop to stare.
Yet no one seems to hear.
I long for someone, anyone to care.
Now all I know is fear.

Rebel is what I start to do.
Not knowing what is right.
My actions they begin to rue.
I’m closing out the light.

I’m waiting for some love to be sent my way.
I know it’s what I need.
I need to know you’re here to stay.
To stop the heart that bleeds.

I see you reaching out, trying to show.
You’ll always be my friend.
And no matter what, I need to know.
You’ll be here till the end.
