Now Draw Close To Me Again Poem by cristian beraru

Now Draw Close To Me Again

And love will carry us to its depths,
Sink the sky without regret now draw close to me again
Swing the moon off its hinge and dare to sway from the fringe
The spark only glistens with eyes wide open, though,
We will plunge waiting to wane
To Lull in our faith, and you will, lull in your faith
Is that okay is nothing something we can face
With gaping smiles of denial
But wait can love carry us away can love lower us
Gently like drops careened by leaves in rain,
And when it rains I sit in my window pains
And think of how the guilty scream and the innocent speak
When justice is adjusted, Now what can I believe
Don't tell me that ruins are rubble
That before we scrape the sky to fall like babel
But no we ramble and preach we will reach like hands to pollen strands
Keep digging as the water flows in to drink and never drown
Scale the ladder though lathered in disbelief
Stop now, and look up, noose balloons fill the sky
With old Souls too young to fly, now hush and draw close to me again
Let me be your rock and you my moss
As the turbulent tide meets us with open arms to wide to grasp
Now draw closer to me again, as if it was the end
