There you lay, covered in blood and tears
It’s happening now, the greatest of my fears
You have lost your heart, your spirit, your soul
You’re broken now, never to be whole

Those gentle broken kisses that tear at my heart
Your lips drenched in blood and ripped apart
Your trembling hand sliding around my waist
Love tasting so bitter, I shudder at the taste

You were my love, my hero, my friend
Is it all over now, coming to an end?
You were the only one I could call my own
Now I’m to be left all alone..

I stare into your eyes, as deep as the sea
No one is around but us, just you and me
Your blood is running cold, I know it’s time to say goodbye
Love lasts forever...that’s just another lie.
