Nowhere Poem by Nosheen Irfan

Nowhere

Rating: 5.0

The hazy day has nothing to say
Biting cold is numbing my fingers
The traffic smoke feeds the vagueness
Till it becomes the only truth
The flashy cars are claiming all space
Displacing the simplicity of soul
And we go on and on
Not knowing where.

We are all drowning in constant rain here and dark clouds that hide the sun's warmth

When we are surrounded by hazy twilight, it is hard to find direction. But, we have to! Quite poignant poem. Top score for shaking my heart with the Nosheenic magic of words.
