The hazy day has nothing to say
Biting cold is numbing my fingers
The traffic smoke feeds the vagueness
Till it becomes the only truth
The flashy cars are claiming all space
Displacing the simplicity of soul
And we go on and on
Not knowing where.
It's the same here in Toronto They predicting snow this week
When we are surrounded by hazy twilight, it is hard to find direction. But, we have to! Quite poignant poem. Top score for shaking my heart with the Nosheenic magic of words.
I had written here my comment, but nowhere to find, HOW is this possible, PH and Team?
This is NOWHERE, but NOW HERE, right? Unique poem, by a unique personality, dear Nosheen and that's YOU! I always like your poems very much, to my Favourites and 5 Stars full Score
And we go on, on and on.....we have a goal to reach the destination but the destination is unknown. Another fabulous poem from your amazing ink. Top score and to my favourite.
This poem resonates with me. Darkness invades every corner even the mind. A well crafted write with superb imagery as always.
