Numb Inside Poem by Amy Louise Kerswell

Numb Inside

So very numb inside.
I do feel.
So very empty and numb.
Will ever feel again,

An emotionless wreck.
As depression
Sets in
As it takes over me.

Depression controlls my life.
So very numb inside.

I cannot feel a thing.
A shadow
Of darkness

So very numb
numb
I feel
Nothing
just numb

It's the numb feeling you get... The birds are chirping and sound like waves crashing in your face And she walks with intent to shine For she did once along time ago When she was happy and inlove But the cruel world betrayed her, so she betrayed herself But now she strides two years after Pretending she is enjoying the place she once enjoyed How she longs to stick her feet in the creek! she could... but she cant do it For it woulnd't satisfy her How she longs for talking walks in the woods! she could but she cant feel the peace And now she walks pass those wonderous things... Paces through the wet green grass. And she goes home only to watch out the window of what she could of had.
