Numbed Poem by Madeline Arnold

Numbed

Rating: 5.0

I'll itch for you,
Through sun and moon.
Where did you go?
The gate's open.

I love how you numbed,
I was under your thumb.
I'll let you be in control,
As long as you'll hold me up.

Labrettes ungurned,
I say it's your turn.
Steal me from life,
My double-edged knife.

I love how you numbed,
I was under your thumb.
I'll let you be in control,
As long as you hold me up.

I bled a lake,
All for your sake.
Where did you go?
The gate's open.
