O' Alas! Convincing In Mind And Trying To Get Things Done By Begging!
Instead of putting the effort by knowing the ways and means,
O' alas! convincing in mind and trying to get things done by begging,
You think that it is equivalent to try to draw the milk by squeezing
the horn and the tail without getting from the udder and teats of the cow!

செய்ய முயற்சித் திறந்தெரிந்து செய்யாமல்
ஐயோ இரந்துபொருள் ஆதரித்தல் - துய்யபால்
ஆவின் முலையில் அடையாமல் வால்கொம்பை
நீவுதல் போலாம் நினை! 266 இரப்பு, தருமதீபிகை
