Neither day; Nor night;
O' Pleasant twilight evening!
You live long!
But, why do you seem
to have lost your light
and lustre like me?
Is your lover also cruel!
Had he also left you and not yet
returned to you, like my husband?
Some evenings are painted with such beauty, I wish it to stay forever. But all the elemental details begin to fade and before you know it, such lovely scene is forever gone. A wonderful and indepth poem. Good work.
In twilight's hazy lustre, everything looks beautiful and pleasant, but it is also a reminder of impending darkness! Enjoyed the poem!
on the threshold of light and darkness....like a deserted woman. Beautiful metaphor.
