How often is found an oasis of tranquility?
A place of peacefulness
A place of quietness
A place of solitude
A place of inner rest

Those are rare places to find,
to find in this busy life of today
Perhaps a cottage in the country,
no access roads for cars
Besides a private lake
away from bustling crowds
Maybe in the desert
or on a mountain top
to find some seclusion
have personal deep thoughts

It's not easy in this world today
to find an oasis of tranquility
surrounded by modernity
of cars, computers, TV

If such a place is found
that gives you peace of mind,
hold on, don't lose it,
keep it close at heart
