October Moon Poem by Edwina Reizer

October Moon

October brings an orange moon
and apples sweet to taste.
And I don't feel like eating one
unless I've been embraced
by the one who is the apple,
the apple of my eye.
And if this cannot happen
than October's moon of orange
can turn blue, the same as I.
