Ode Of Lament Poem by Jhane Reyes

Ode Of Lament

Acquainted melody evokes a silent cry
Melt like candle on tuning meek lullaby
Dwell the memories afraid to move and try
Imprisoned a lament with tears rolling by

Flowers sadly wilt and leaves sign to fall
Deceiving effigy see through the wall
Paradise is a curse, fate is wild and small
Fiasco is a nightmare a mope to recall

Stepped thorny path to follow the trail
Echoed the world a numbness wail
In abyss of sadness beg a morning hail
Seek the answer for and endless ail

Anguish for every grope and fumble
Fight frenzy and fear cloaked of sable
Heaven is cruel to pick up from crumble
Where to start and defeat the trouble?
