It’s out of the darkness,
That we learned to see,
It’s out of the silence,
That song comes to me,
There is Life all around us,
Just look and see.
There is much ponder,
But first laugh with glee,
Because life is the foundation that builds up our hopes,
Life is the reason that we learned to cope.

hey, I really like this. it sounds like a hallmark card for a cancer patient. try expanding on your poem though, I think it's really great but dosn't sound finished yet. keep writing.
