Ode To My Beautiful Mother Poem by courtney metcalf

Ode To My Beautiful Mother

Ode to my beautiful mother
A wildflower that bloomed a bit brighter than the others
She had a care-free, colorful soul
My memories will never let her go
Solasta as a sunset
She was my biggest star
My world revolved around her
Singing to the music in duets
Riding around in the car
Spendiferously lying in the ground, my flower

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
My little cousins mother passed away, and she asked me to write a poem for her homework assignment, which was to write an Ode. Her mother's name was Tione, a Native American, tribal name, meaning wildflower.
