Of Nature Whose Wonders Are Many Poem by Francis Duggan

Of Nature Whose Wonders Are Many

In the green countryside where the waterways meet
I first grew to love Nature near the Town of Millstreet
Long before time that ages did become my foe
On going back the years more than six decades ago
We learn as we live as the wise one does say
And of Nature I learn something new every day
Yet the more I does learn the more I realize
That of her I know little this not a surprise
Of Nature whose wonders are many and her secrets not few
Every day of her we do learn something new
And though my wonderment of her ways only does seem to grow
So little about her I can claim for to know
And learning of Nature everyday I enjoy
I first grew to love her far north as a boy.
