Ogboli (Uprighteousness) Poem by Kenneth Chukwunonso Ofuani

Ogboli (Uprighteousness)

Ogboli

Most men as well most women
May fear of bath
For the thought of falling
In the bathroom and someone
comes in to help and they are naked.

Dirty cannot kill Ogboli
Yet difficult for Ogboli to accept
Went against odds despite
He must not bath bathed.
What then shall Ogboli do to dirt.

He sweeps it away
He washes it away
He keeps it clean
For Good and for You/th[em].
