Oh My Dearest Summer Poem by Steven Elsner

Oh My Dearest Summer

I will keep laughing and smiling
Singing my silly old tune
I won't stop 'till noon
Keeping it going this little thing

The sun is shinning
Kids are playing
No babies whining
The rays quite blinding

For I love the summer day
It's magical in every way
Only if everyday were a summer day
So every child may live and play
