Oh Sorry My Friend Poem by Ana Z. M.

From all the ones I've known,
you were the one who touched my heart the most,
and from all the ones I feared to lose,
you were the one who is tightly embraced to my heart.

Everytime I watched you smile,
my heart went full of joy.
Everytime I watched you cry,
my heart fell apart.

From all the one's I've known,
you were the one who inspired me the most,
inspired me to have a true to feeling for you,
I loved you my friend, that's all I knew.

And then I did something stupid,
I lose you my dearest friend,
I let all my emotions explode in my heart,
letting you my friend go away.

Yes I was wrong,
I offended you like no other did before,
and I regret the words I said,
that day emotions ruled my heart.

Not thinking of the consequences,
now im here paying the price,
so I've loosed the most beautiful thing,
a real friendship which was meant to last.

Now my friend,
you'll soon be travelling far away,
not coming back home,
staying in that new place.

You have your days numbered,
no one knows when you'll catch your plane,
but I know you are making,
the same mistake I made.

My friend, my sister!
Don't let emotions rule your heart,
I'm not asking for forgiveness,
but I'm asking for you to take my advice.

I'm willing to wait an eternity,
if that is what I have to wait,
untill the most happiest day comes,
when I hear your forgiving words.
