Oke Osisi Poem by Anthony Nwosu

Oke Osisi

When others were lazy
He worked crazy
Men went to sleep
But Oke osisi rose to sweep

One thing amazes him
Why do people sleep to the brim?
He prefers using his head
Than using his bed

Gentle lion and meek
Everyday of the week
Where does your strength lie
in low or high?

Oke osisi sings his song
The morning is young
Night hours too long
Hard work is for the strong
