He was born in 1732 to a family in Virginia
They were established planters, you see
Dignity and social graces he was taught
Early American history is so exciting to me

For George Washington, our first president
Is nestled into this wonderful museum
Along with wonderful art pieces, my friend
You would just love, I know, to see them

A towering unbelievable piece is front and center
You would not believe your eyes
When you first see this beautiful glass
It is truly an exciting surprise

For it’s blown glass of every color arranged
To stand tall and extraordinarily strong
Oh yes, the designer is brilliant
And this museum is where it belongs

I hope that one day you can, as well
