Old Friend, You Are Forever Young Poem by Collette Y Anderson Williams

Old Friend, You Are Forever Young

Rating: 4.5

I saw an old friend today;
she looked as young
as she did
only yesterday.

So, when others see a wrinkle,
and perhaps some greys,
to me, her eyes
still twinkle
and her smile remains
as beams of sunshine
to my days.

Old friend, to me
you are forever young!

True friendship remains undeterred by the process of aging. Great poem. Thanks. So, when others see a wrinkle, to me, her eyes...still twinkle
