Old Man's Lament Poem by michael Smajda

Old Man's Lament

Who cares what the old man knows.
Why he took the road he chose.
Why he thinks the way he does.
Reminisces of what was.

Who cares if the old man dies.
As he's buried, no one cries.
Since none cared for the old knave,
He took his wisdom to the grave.

Some people do take their wisdom and knowledge to the grave with them, unknown and unappreciated. Very nice poem. thanks for posting, Michael.
