Old Men Start Wars - Poem by Dave Avery

To war, to war

The old men said

An another American

Soldier is dead

To war, to war

The old men cried

An another American

Soldier has died

War's are fought

An war's are won

But at a terrible price

The lives of our sons

The day will come

An peace is here

But at what cost

A river of tears
