Oleander Poem by Cathy Shao

Oleander

Oleander
Go and allure
Cast your five white petals in a swirl
Shine as a crown of jewel

Oleander
Go and allure
Gather your many red petals in a swirl
Shine as a scepter of pearl

Be relentless
Be merciless
When you take the heart of a once little girl
