Ologies Poem by Stanley Cooper

There are very many ologies
Scientific, with few exceptions
Psych, Bi, and Physi-ology
Worthy of scientists attention

One exception, mythical
Mythology, it’s title
Myths are too illogical
To be scientifically vital

Astrology’s another
That gives scientists the fits
Is it any wonder
Since it’s nothing more than glitz

Ologies when factual
Professors teach in college
We learn from them what’s actual
As harbingers of knowledge
