Omniscient Poem by jon groff

Omniscient

I sit upon my throne of lies
I prevent you from seeing the world through clear eyes.
I exist not within myself,
But in the soul of the seas,
And the breeze blowing through the trees.
I am everything that you long to be.
I am all-knowing in my tirade of madness.
I will befriend you only to chew you up and spit you out.

I spin a web of enigmatic riddles like the most expert spider could,
I keep you running in an endless circle like a master of lies should,
I etch away at the very core moral fiber of your being,
And in your time of dying it's me that you will be seeing.

I plant into the deepest recesses of your psyche my seed of immorality
I reach into your soul and twist and skew your view of reality,
At this point the battle is already won and the rest a mere formality.
I beckon through the darkness to you, your life has become a calamity

I sit upon my throne of lies
I prevent you from seeing the world through clear eyes.
I exist not within myself,
But in the soul of the seas,
and the breeze blowing through the trees.
I am everything that you long to be.
I am all-knowing in my tirade of madness.
I will befriend you only to chew you up and spit you out.

I hide in the shadows and like a stalking butler I wait,
I give you time to sit and let my evil marinate,
Now confused and lost you begin to contemplate,
You have befallen to this cruel and twisted fate. You were so easy to manipulate.

I am a master of all time and space and from me there is no escape.
I will hunt you down and force upon you my masterful mind rape.
Such a devious man this world has surely never before seen,
It surely makes me wonder if I'm far more than just a feeble human being.
