RIC S. BASTASA

On A Certain Anonymity - Poem by RIC S. BASTASA

without a name
and a face
that will be alright
to hide in some form
of dignified
anonymous

but my dear
fellows
try to cheer
a sad soul

greet her
a nice hello

leave her
a thank you note

and try to speak
some words

make her feel
alive
make her feel
that you are here
with her

that this world is still
peopled with people
peopling
