On A Trip To End A Relationship Poem by Fonia Tan

On A Trip To End A Relationship

Rating: 4.5

Set fourth in the vast ocean
Bound for the endlesss horizon
There I sat
Imagining myself to be
As far as the gulls can see
A place where nobody finds me.
Of the seagulls mirth of laughter
I sincerely admire
Their contented desire.

But even when I'm faraway
Your smile is still here to stay.
The image never goes away
Even as I flee on a ship
Bound for the end of our relationship.
The edge of the ocean's endless
Yet troubles bury me deeper
Of the love I should know sooner
I'm always sorry
For the way it turned out to be
Like the titanic
Guilt sank me
To the bottomless sea.

the poem is beautiful. but i believe in a long distance relationship and that at the end no matter what the two will always meet. just like how it happens in movies..: -)
