On A Winters Day In The New Forest Poem by Anthony Foster

On A Winters Day In The New Forest

Rating: 5.0

The stillness of the trees,
Bare and gaunt in the winter cold,
The air is still, the forest is quiet,
Waiting for the warmth of spring sunshine.

The air of gentle melancholy,
Touches my soul,
And brings me closer to nature and life’s meaning.
