On Bed With Tears Poem by Buvanji Bharat

On Bed With Tears

Rating: 4.5

Remembering those days
you lie on my lap,
my hands wander in your chin;
Under that beautiful moonlight
you smiled like angel
And promised me,
'Till my last date
i will be with you'
That words are written in air;
That words are written in water.
You left me, why?

Now am hearing,
'you are alone like me'
Moon said to me
Now am hearing.

I wish to fly in air
With you;
Like that bird.
I dreamed to live in sky
With you;
Like that stars.
But all went in pain
Now also am flying in air
As a waste paper.
Now also am living in sky
As a lonely moon.

Thousands of stars around me
Even though am still alone

The raining days
Remembering the days
That we danced
And your warm breath

The dark nights
Remembering the days
Which we played under moon

For this world
Nights are gifted to take rest
For me Nights are gifted to weep
Weep Weep..

On my bed
Am looking the space
That you made blank
Filling that with my tears
Every day night
Am filling that with my tears..

Lovely depiction of distress and heartbreak occasioned by disappointment on the exit of blissful love. Love is a spiritual experience and a voyage of pure bliss. It's however whimsical and temperamental, appearing when it pleases and may leave without warning. A well articulated piece of poetry, nicely penned from inner recesses of the heart with conviction. Thanks for sharing Buvanji. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
