On My Own

i have been on my own for so long
through the good and bad when i
achieve and when i go to sleep its
all on my own.
i wake and walk the days through
the cold and through the warmth
on my own.
i look to my future what will
happen what will become of me
i look to a brighter future for
now i do this on my own.
