On My Own Poem by Ivana Valasik

On My Own

Rating: 5.0

I asked God
for a man and
He gave me the evil's better twin.

and I am helpless
an so is he...

How can he handle
all my purity
all my otherness
all my thoughtfulness.

And I?
How can I handle
all his filthiness
all his mediocrity
all his shallowness.

I asked God
to resolve my
helplessness
and He asked me
to first try
on my own.

How can he handle all my purity all my otherness all my thoughtfulness. God asked me to try on my own at first.... very good attitude for problems of all kinds in life.......... unexpectedly life becomes what we do not want...... there we stay...... in prayer we find our hold. hold fast on God....... believe, live in faith..... you will find solutions unexpectedly. tony

I asked God to resolve my helplessness and He asked me to first try on my own. Beautiful sentiment, a good inscription to remember for the worse of times
