I could not them,
Their slanting references
To home, exile, nativity, roots,
Exile, alienation, diaspora,
Dislocation, displacement,
Capitalism, communism
And the divide
Encompassing
Land, cartography, language,
Region and something European,
Non-English and of vast and varied space.
