On The Bank Of Moon River Poem by Max Jason Wallace

On The Bank Of Moon River

T’is another beautiful day in the land of Dixie!
The sun, upon marsh ‘n river, doth labor to shine,
Standing on the bank of Moon river, it hits me,
Savoring the marvels of God’s grand design.

Somehow, it gives me a strange sense worth,
A feeling that, I alone have been chosen,
To witness the wonders of this day’s birth,
A vivid memory in my mind, forever frozen.

It is these insightful times, that I do cherish,
Absorbing the nuisances of nature’s beauty,
Inspiring me to do more than just wish,
But, to preserve the world’s wonder ‘s my duty.

Like me, somewhere on this planet, so fragile,
There must be someone as awesomely inspired,
To share their view of earth’s beauty, so regal,
Before our short time, on earth, has expired.
