On The Other Hand Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

On The Other Hand

On the other hand

Stone is the problem
A large one, huge rock
Unrolled
As if a coin in a frame
One-sided

“Ask yourself what you have done…? ”
Said Kennedy.
Words of wisdom are many
They are knitted, sewn to…, stuck
One-sided

The grandma’s spin is gone, disappeared
Now all are in the factories
Matrices
We do not see the base, thread
See cloth only, which is all
One-sided

And what about:
Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap
(But by the seeds that you plant)
Churchill said:
It is no use saying, 'We are doing our best.'
You have got to succeed in doing what is necessary.
One-sided

And,
What you put your attention on will grow.
Two-sided
