On The Line Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

On The Line

On the line

So much is on the line
That you, I, each of us
Is childish, on the run.

Questions are plenty,
Unanswered, are many
Like lifeless fetuses
Of the poor families…

Fool myself, guess you too
When repeat: "I will do."

"Do not go, isolate…
Wash hands, stay away! "
Government has ordered.

I hate it when they say!
Love being in your jail…

So, the time allows me
Review good, bad things,
Barricade the worries,
Read, become creative…

Keep silent, look at walls
Let gentle wavy thoughts
Dance ballet, in the front
As have seen raindrops
When leaving the clouds.

Picture the oceans, seas
They play hide and seek
In bodies of the fish…

Crazy may not be
But laugh like crazy
Brings fun the funny…

In my arms you remain
Both in and out of bed,
In seasons' rainy days.

So much is on the line. We cannot go outside. We have to isolate ourselves. This is the time of danger of Corona Virus. We should take all preventive measure and we should be careful.
