On The Other Side Of The Medow Poem by Joi Heart

On The Other Side Of The Medow

The fire begins, rising as if someone was lifting a heavy load.
It's flaming form peeking from behind the moutain top
Like a scared little child.
It's beautiful ray's waving at me
Shinning upon my eyes.
Happy to see another beautiful day.
Hey! =^~^=
The wind dances with the silent tune of the sky.
Taking my hair along in its graceful journey
Of nothinginess.
As they blow threw me i closed my eyes
and drifted off into a land of serenity.
A wishful hand reaching out to me
Sweeping me off my feet
with it's sweet whispers
Telling me secrects only i could know.
The Bird greeted me with the sound of song
Not careing if i was right
Or wrong
No matter how short
No matter how long
People could never hear their whispers
Yet i was chosen all alone.
But now the sun set and the day ends
The birds fly home
The wind stop's dancing
And telling me it's secrects
The sun is now hiding.
I now weep as i lay down
where i rest my wounded mind
Wishing i was in a world
that was just as kind...
On the other side of the medow.
