On Turning 60

The rainbow and the ravens
made me feel hopeful,
as they always do.

Remembering.

Those days. I miss them.

But in some ways,
inside of me,
they never ended.

That blooming, that becoming, the beginning.

We can die anytime,
but I haven't yet,
and as I get closer to The End,
it all still feels like it's starting.
